Elder Scrolls Online puts social back into your Gaming Nights

September cant come soon enough ( June 9th) for players itching to sink their claws into The Elder Scrolls Online for Next Gen consoles. PC players may have exhausted the games content by now but this will be a fresh new experience for Xbox One and PS4 players. In addition the game was recently announced to be a completely F2P title ( after the initial game purchase however).

The thing that excites me most about this genre is the social aspects of the game and after playing Destiny in a social Vacuum late last night, the trailer below renews some faith in me that social gaming may still exist in the land of console video gaming.

Are you planning on playing and will it be alone or with friends?

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 next week. Gather your friends to experience new exciting adventures!

Explore ancient dungeons, challenge and defeat mechanical monsters, fight for the Ruby Throne in Cyrodiil, or create amazing crafting pieces. Don’t miss this opportunity to create your own tales, and live them fully with your friends as you explore Tamriel and try to discover its secrets.

  1. I had the game preloaded on my PS4 and at 10pm Mountain time give it a whirl. Servers were down / offline or tied up… went to bed and in the morning tried it for a few hours with no problems. If it was a hiccup, it may have been from 100,000 people all trying to log in at same time.. of course that will cause some issues. Once load thinned out no problems. I wouldn’t consider the launch a failure and I thought the game looked pretty good. Only level 5 but will play more this week 🙂
